The Program Committee of The American Conference for the Treatment of HIV (ACTHIV) invites any health professionals who provide care to persons living with HIV, or are part of a multidisciplinary team providing care for persons living with HIV, to submit a paper for consideration in the poster program of this conference. The conference will take place May 15 - May 17, 2009 in Denver, Colorado.
This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians, pharmacists, social workers, adherence counselors and treatment advocates to demonstrate unique and/or novel strategies to address the many issues that must be managed in effective, state-of-the-art HIV care. We are especially interested in posters that address creative approaches to HIV testing and counseling, linkages to care, treatment adherence, outreach to those who drop out of care, and enhancing the clinical experience of those living with HIV. Case reports and clinical series are welcome.
For your paper to be considered, it must be received BEFORE 6:00 PM PST on Friday, February 20, 2009. Please adhere closely to the format and submission guidelines below. Papers that do not adhere to this format cannot be considered.
All paper submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee. All authors will be notified via email or fax of the status of their proposed poster by April 1, 2009. For those authors who have a selected paper, you will receive a detailed information packet with specific deadlines and materials preparation requirements.
We look forward to an excellent meeting and the unique contribution these posters will make to the meeting content.
